In My Room is a self portrait project born from a moment of inspiration in the studio, answering a nostalgic siren call from my younger youth.
The digital exhibition will feature a collection of self portraits reflecting a time in my life when youthful self expression was introduced to a larger culture of heteronormative restrictions.
The resulting reaction was to retreat to a place of a safety and peace - in my room. On view 10/16/2026.
